How do I sign up to play this Fall?

Please complete and return the registration form (one per person) via email to info@oxfordwinds.ca as soon as you can, due Friday September 12. If you need assistance or a paper copy of this form, please reach out via email.

What is the membership fee?

Our registration fees will remain the same as last season at $60 per individual member from September 2025 to May 2026. Half season membership prices will be $35 for September 2025 to December 2025 and $35 for January 2026 to May 2026. All membership fees are non-refundable, so please choose the full or half season registration option that works best for you. If you have any concerns about the membership fee, please let us know. As always, your membership fee includes registration in any (or all) of our groups.

How can I pay my membership fee?

We prefer e-transfers to info@oxfordwinds.ca Please exercise caution when making a payment by e-transfer (double check your payment amount). Please also always put a comment in your e-transfer noting what the payment is for. We also accept cash or cheques at the first rehearsal.

When / where are rehearsals?

Rehearsals are planned to be on Thursday evenings at a TVDSB school in Woodstock. The first rehearsal will be on Thursday September 18. Details regarding the location and first rehearsal will follow for those who register.

We are now accepting applications for the Oxford Winds Award!

The Oxford Winds Award is presented each year to one graduating high school student in Oxford County who will be continuing their musical education at the post-secondary level. 

Applications are due by April 30 at 5:00pm.

Summer is coming to a close, which means registration is now open for the Oxford Winds 2024-2025 season!

We’re looking for brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians of all ages and skill levels to join the Oxford Winds Community Concert Band for weekly in-person rehearsals. Rehearsals are held each Thursday evening starting September 19th in Woodstock – but we welcome members from anywhere in Oxford County and beyond!

To Register:
complete this form and send it to info@oxfordwinds.ca by September 13. We’ll confirm your registration and provide the rehearsal location details.

Fees:
$60 per individual for the entire season – $35 for a half season (Sept-Dec/Jan-May). All membership fees are non-refundable.

Other Information:
If you already have a grey uniform shirt, you are all set. If you do not own or need a new one, download and complete an order form. Shirts are $36, payable by e-transfer, cash, or cheque.

We do have a few instruments available to borrow again this season. If you are interested in borrowing an instrument to play, please reach out and we can let you know what we have. Instrument preferences will be first come, first served.  

Before you register, we ask that you please consider your schedule and ensure you are able to attend enough rehearsals and our performances. A printed schedule will be provided at the first rehearsal, but please know that rehearsals/concerts will be every Thursday evening September 19 to December 12 and our main concert will be on Friday November 29.

Our Spring 2024 concert has been revealed – join us on May 10th for Myth & Magic With The Winds, an enchanting night of music from stories of legend and magical, musical tomes.

You’ll hear recognizable themes from popular movies and television, alongside some classic selections.
